Text Box: The month of December at Ark House was extremely BUSY for us. At the beginning of the month, we got into the holiday spirit by going to a Christmas luncheon held at our sister clubhouse, Clinch Mountain House. Also on this day, our TACO choir group performed their first concert. Everyone was very impressed with the talent of these singers. A special thanks goes out to the staff and consumers for cooking a most excellent lunch. The desserts were divine as well.

We also catered two dinners at the church next door. All our hard work paid off as this proved to be a success for us as well.

In between hosting dinners and partying with our sister clubhouses, we also went on an overnight trip to Pigeon Forge, TN. Conda F., Gordon F., Carter M., Harold H., Roy H. and Frances B. went with Dianne and Priscilla took out for a jam packed overnight trip. Gordon said that he hadn’t seen so many places to shop as he did down there. We summed up the day with a pleasant dinner at the Alabama grill and went to the Smokey Mountain Jubilee. At the show, many Christmas and oldies songs were performed. On the way back, we stopped at a few more stores and headed back to clubhouse.

Then the parties really started at clubhouse. We attended one party at the church next door and to shake things up from the same ole turkey and ham, we had Pizza instead.

We also had our own Christmas party at our clubhouse. We had an excellent day, just about all clubhouse members came and enjoyed the day.

Harold H. summed it up best when he said clubhouse members were his family. That was such a great time for us because we are family here.
