Text Box: to work hands on doing something good for Tazewell House by raising money for our member’s fund.              Clerical Unit Text Box:      This year’s Main Street Moments Festival was a big success.  Not only was it a good fund raiser for Tazewell House but it also allowed it’s members to mingle with many people from the community.  Some of the people we were able to meet with included politicians, Text Box: police officers, nurses and doctors, and different store vendors from around the area.        This event allowed us to be seen as people outside of the clubhouse.  Individuals were able to talk to us and get to know us for something other than our mental illness.  It also gave us the chance Text Box:       Being chosen Member of the Month was a real honor. I feel that I was given this privilege because of my willingness to work and dedication to my job. Taking on things without being asked shows that there has been much improvement in clubhouse activities. I know the next one who receives it will live up to the challenge to be the best they can be. We have many fine people here that deserve the honor that goes along with this award. Who knows what might happen next?     Text Box:           I want to thank the members and staff of Tazewell House for their faith in me. Maybe the encouragement for better work in the future will keep me moving on. Things are looking up. Tomorrow is another day.
