POPULATION SERVED: Tazewell County residents, 18 years old or older, with a diagnosed mental illness.

PURPOSE: To provide a comprehensive rehabilitation and social support program designed to help the emotionally disabled members of our community. We strive to provide a restorative environment that assists individuals who have been socially and vocationally disabled through mental illness. This helps them to develop or regain the confidence, skills and personal resources necessary to lead independent, productive and socially satisfying lives. A supportive work environment is provided to interested members at the Piggy Bank Cafe.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Tazewell House is a psychosocial rehabilitation program for the mentally ill.
