Clearview Center
| Clearview is a 20-bed acute care psychiatric
program for adults 18 and older. We are fully staffed with caring, competent professionals
who strive to make our patient's recovery our every priority. We are located within the
Russell County Medical Center in Lebanon, Virginia, in the far southwest portion of the
state. Clearview is operating under a contractual partnership between Cumberland Mountain Community Services and Russell County Medical Center that brings community medical care together with community mental health. Clearview specializes in short-term stabilization of patients with mental illness. We offer a wide range on therapies including medication management, group and individual psycotherapy, family support, education, therapeutic activities and recreation. Since our setting is within a medical hospital, medical assessment and treatment is readily available. Patients may be admitted twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week. We accept patients by voluntary referral, Temporary Detention Order, or by Involuntary Civil Commitment with approval.
