HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

APPLICATION FOR SERVICES: Referrals from area Community Services Boards. Members must be an active client of a Community Service Board.

POPULATION SERVED: Russell County residents, 18 years and older, who have a mental health diagnosis.

PURPOSE: To provide psycho-social rehabilitative services to individuals who have a serious mental illness. The program focuses on preventing individuals from being hospitalized or re-hospitalized by providing structured support activities that allow individuals to accomplish and maintain their highest level of functioning.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The clubhouse program creates a sense of belonging. Group activities are provided to enhance social skills and to build self-esteem. Special interest groups, crafts and creative expression groups are among the programs offered. Special activities include shopping trips, community outings, movies, hikes, picnics, an annual vacation trip, and social events with other clubhouse programs. Supportive vocational training at individual levels of performance is offered.
