FAMILY THERAPIST

 

Cumberland Mountain Community Services Board, a community-based mental health and substance abuse services provider, is seeking therapists and social work/human service professionals who are passionate about working with children/adolescent and families in a unique team-oriented approach.    CMCSB is seeking professionals interested in a career opportunity that focuses on working with children, ages 3-18, and their families.   Responsibilities include providing mental health and substance abuse therapy (individual, family, and group), case management, and crisis services to children and adolescents in the Russell County, VA area.  CMCSB is searching for a clinician motivated to provide therapeutic modalities to individuals in a variety of locations, to include office, community, home and school-based settings.  Qualifications:  Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in a human services field and one year of direct service experience working with children and/or adolescents.  Individuals registered with a licensing board are encouraged to apply, as licensure in Virginia is preferred.  Individuals must also possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record, and must meet all of CMCSB pre-employment background screenings.  Professional Development: Through the support of our organization, you will advance professionally and personally. PART-TIME ADULT DEVELOPMENT INSTRUCTOR

 

CMCSB is recruiting for two positions for Part-time Adult Development Instructors for Buchanan Day Support, located at Keen Mountain.  Duties include providing instruction and supervision to intellectually disabled adults attending a day support program.  Instructor will provide guidance and supervision to individuals in a skills learning program to increase community and social skills.  Will be responsible for transporting individuals on outings and driving a van route.  Must maintain accurate records for Medicaid audits.  Must be able to lift 35 pounds, as there are individuals with mobilization difficulties in this program.  High School diploma or equivalent experience in order to complete detailed paperwork.     Valid driver’s license and good driving record also required.  Maximum of 27 work hours per week available.  Deadline to apply:  Open Until Filled. Part-time LPN’s needed at the Laurels, a residential alcohol and drug treatment program located in Lebanon.  Responsible for interviewing individuals receiving services and collecting pertinent data, recording vital signs and laboratory test results and observing for changes in behaviors and symptoms, assisting physician in examinations and evaluations, and receiving, recording and carrying out physician orders.  Will also monitoring participation in programming, assist individuals with personal hygiene if necessary and perform necessary housekeeping activities to ensure cleanliness of facility.    Hours and shifts may vary, with up to 27 hours a week.  LPN License in Virginia is required.  Nursing experience preferred.  Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.   Deadline to apply:  Open Until Filled.    EOE.
