Board is recruiting for the following positions: PSYCHIATRIST:
Cumberland Mountain Community Services Board (CMCSB)
is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist to provide
psychiatric services at a community agency providing treatment in mental
health, intellectual disabilities, and substance use disorders. We are recruiting for individuals
interested in a career opportunity that focuses on providing general
psychiatric services to adults (along with some children and adolescents) in
outpatient clinics serving all age groups and diagnostic categories. Also, provides evaluation/treatment
oversight to a co-occurring substance use disorders treatment center and
Residential Recovery program. All
service locations are supported by Nurse Practitioners, RN’s, Masters and
Bachelors level counselors, and Case Managers. Does NOT include call rotation. Typically day time M-F work hours, does
involve infrequent after hours telephone support. The position is located in Cedar Bluff, VA,
but incumbent will provide psychiatric services to outpatient clinics
operated by Cumberland Mountain Community Services Board. Mileage reimbursement is provided when
traveling to outlying locations.
Incumbents must hold a medical degree with a specialty in Psychiatry
and must be licensed to practice in Virginia.
Experience is preferred but not required. Must also possess a valid driver’s license
and good driving record, and must meet all CMCSB pre-employment
screenings. Financial assistance for

recovery focused projects for adults receiving addiction services. The position is for Tazewell County
area. Requires personal knowledge and lived experience as a recipient of
substance abuse treatment services, as well as on-going involvement in an
addiction recovery plan including self-help involvement. Also requires the ability and willingness
to share personal experiences as part of providing peer support to adults
with addiction issues. Training and
on-going supervision required and provided as part of employment. Candidates must pass all CMCS
background screenings. Interested

developmentally disabled individuals in Buchanan, Russell and Tazewell
Counties. Duties include assisting
with daily living skills, such as personal care, domestic, social,
communication, and recreational skills. Must transport client when necessary.
Must keep accurate records. Prefer Associates degree in human services field.
