Cumberland Mountain Community Services Board is recruiting for the following positions:

PSYCHIATRIST:  CMCSB is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist to oversee psychiatric services at a community agency providing treatment in mental health, intellectual disabilities, and substance use disorders.  We are recruiting for individuals interested in a career opportunity that focuses on providing general psychiatric services to adults (along with some children and adolescents) in outpatient clinics serving all age groups and diagnostic categories.  Also, provides evaluation/treatment oversight to a co-occurring substance use disorders treatment center and Residential Recovery program.  All service locations are supported by Nurse Practitioners, RN’s, Masters and Bachelors level counselors, and Case Managers.  Does NOT include call rotation.  Typically day time M-F work hours, does involve infrequent after hours telephone support.  The position is located in Cedar Bluff, VA, but incumbent will provide psychiatric services to outpatient clinics operated by CMCSB.  Mileage reimbursement is provided when traveling to outlying locations.   Incumbents must hold a medical degree with a specialty in Psychiatry and must be licensed to practice in Virginia.  Experience is preferred but not required.  Must also possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record, and must meet all CMCSB pre-employment screenings.  Financial assistance for interviewing and relocation is available.  For more information on this position, please contact the Human Resource Office of Cumberland Mountain Community Services Board at PO Box 810, Cedar Bluff, VA  24609, (276) 964-6702.  Applications may be obtained from our website at www.cmcsb.com.  Deadline to Apply:  Open Until Filled.  EOE.

 

PART-TIME CUSTODIAN:  Responsible for day to day cleaning of busy office building.  Will work approximately 35 hours a week.  Hours may vary, but hours are tentatively 11 a.m – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work.  Good housekeeping skills required.  Must be able to lift 35 pounds.  Valid drivers’ license and good driving record also required.  Minimum entrance rate of pay is $7.28 per hour.  Interested candidates should apply by following directions below.  Deadline to apply:  Open Until Filled    EOE.

 

PART-TIME RESIDENTIAL TECHNICIAN:  Individual needed for part-time Residential Technician position for an alcohol and drug treatment program located in Lebanon.  Duties include monitoring clients, ensuring client participation in activities, assisting with hygiene, and transporting clients when necessary.  Assist clinical staff when needed.  Shifts may vary. PART-TIME LPN:  Part-time LPN is needed for position at an alcohol and drug treatment program located in Lebanon.  Responsible for monitoring consumer activity and participation in programming, assist consumers with personal hygiene, perform necessary housekeeping activities to ensure cleanliness of facility, interview consumers and collect pertinent data, record consumer's vital signs and laboratory test results and observe for changes in behaviors and symptoms, assist physician in consumer examinations and evaluations, and receive, record and carry out physician orders.  LPN License in Virginia is required.  Nursing experience preferred.  Valid drivers license and good driving record required.   Interested candidates should apply by following directions below.  Deadline to apply:  Open Until Filled.    EOE.

 

PART-TIME RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT TECHNICIANS:  Provide personal care and assistance to developmentally disabled individuals in Buchanan, Russell and Tazewell Counties.  Duties include assisting with daily living skills, such as personal care, domestic, social, communication, and recreational skills. Must transport client when necessary. Must keep accurate records. Prefer Associates degree in human services field. Valid driver’s license and good driving record required. PART-TIME RESIDENTIAL TECHNICIANS:  Individuals needed for Baxter House and Mountain View ICF/MR programs.  These programs are group homes for severely mentally disabled adults.  Duties include supervision of clients in all activities of residential living; planning goals and objectives of the home; assisting in general housekeeping duties; providing coverage for other shifts as necessary.  Must maintain accurate records.  High School diploma required.  Prefer Associates degree in human services field.  Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.   Reply to P-T ICF Residential Technician Position by following directions below.  Deadline to apply:   Open until filled.
